Pawmetto Lifeline - Formerly Project Pet

Like all the dogs at Project Pet, I was a rescue dog. My Daddy found me back in 2003 in Goose Creek. He picked me out of the big group of other great dogs hoping for a new home. I really got lucky. Did you know that over 19,500 stray dogs and cats right here in the Midlands don’t even get the chance to have someone consider adopting them? I made it through some pretty tough odds, and was so lucky to find a wonderful home.

I know a lot of friends that didn’t get picked that day never had the chance. That’s why it is so important to help educate people and help the mission of Project Pet. To help, my daddy and I have started a new awareness campaign called Bailey and Friends.

The mission of Bailey and Friends is to spread the news about Project Pet, and the importance of spaying and neutering (although I hate to think about the day I was “fixed”) your furry family members!!  It’s our hope you will want to lend a hand. There are so many cool things that you can do to have a big impact on rescue dogs like me. You can help support with donations…It costs a lot of feed all the pups here. But even more important, you can volunteer!  We all love to walk and play, and just a little of your time goes a long way in making our stay at Project Pet happy. You can become a foster mommy or daddy, or you can ADOPT a new friend of your own!!

As for our part here on the website, you can come meet one of my new friends each week here at http://www.projectpet.com/. This Bailey’s Friend of the Week will not be an easy choice, but I promise, it will be a great addition to your family.

Bailey and Friends will sponsor special adoptions all around the Midlands and even have puppy party reunions for all of our friends who are rescued by you!  We’re even setting up a network of fun places you can bring us to unwind after work and have a relaxing beverage!!
